HTC is seeking a talented and passionate Sr. UX Designer to join our dynamic, cross-functional team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of our products by crafting thoughtful, user-centered experiences that balance business goals with real human needs. You will collaborate closely with designers, researchers, engineers, and product managers to drive innovation from early concept through final implementation. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
·         Identifying the intersection of business needs, user needs, design trends, technology trends, and creating designs based on those results.
·         Leading user research activities during the planning, strategy development, and early design of solutions.
·         Constructing compelling artifacts (wireframes, conceptual diagrams, task flows, storyboards, etc.) that outline present conditions and proposed solutions to gain strategic alignment and encourage innovation within team and across teams.
·         Participating in or leading design-thinking exercises to break through organizational silos and collaboratively solve complex design challenges.
·         Partnering with development teams and business teams to drive successful implementation of great experiences.
·         A portfolio of relevant work is required for consideration. It should illustrate your involvement and how you contributed to solving specific problems.
 
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Abilities)
·         5+ years of professional design experience.
·         Experience in collaborating with team of Designers, Researchers, Engineers, Content Writers and Product Managers throughout the design process; creating user flows, wireframes, and building user interface mockups and prototypes across multiple platforms.
·         Experience in qualitative and quantitative user research.
·         Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, InVision, and Adobe Creative Suite.
·         Excellent communication skills, with the ability to distill complex ideas to their essence.
·         A team player, flexible and open while designing, discussing, and presenting your work.
 
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Abilities)
·         Experience in UI/visual skills is a plus.
·         Experience working on early-stage products.
